Altenew March 2024 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Altenew kindly invited me to their March 2024 Release Blog Hop, and I had so much fun crafting with the new products! This release has beautiful stamps, dies, stencils, press plates, embossing folders and more. You can view (and buy) them all here. Scroll down to see some of the goodness offered this month! 

I'll start with the gorgeous Lovely Floral Hat die set - let me tell you, I can't wait to try out this sweet ensemble in allllll the different colors! I've already made some hats with patterned papers too, so there's more to come soon. I also used the new Crystal Clear Enamel Dots in this card, as well as the new Farmhouse Florals Embossing Folder in the background; scroll down to the next card to see this one in more detail. 

The Farmhouse Florals Embossing Folder isn't only great as a background, with all its glorious detail it can stand on its own too, of course. I used white ink and used a white gel pen to accentuate some of the finer lines; the sentiment on this card is from the new Rustling Leaves Press Plate Set and has been cut out with the coordinating dies. And, again, Crystal Clear Enamel Dots, because they make for perfect little accents on basically any card!

Another new favourite is the Natural Wicker Pattern 3D Embossing Folder, and I just love the texture it gives! I paired it with the new Craft-A-Flower April Kiss Camellia Die Set in my next card; the sentiment is also included in this one (there's one for "hello" and one for "thanks", including their shadow dies). The new Frosted Foliage Enamel Dots are also in the card; with three different shades of green in there, it is truly versatile. Though they're easy to put together, the flower dies have LOTS of layers, so I diecut them from watercolor paper and used my Watercolor 36 Pan Set to create some variation without much fuss.

Last but not least there's a new Craft Your Life Project Kit called Splendid Bouquet, and I used all the products in there (stamps, dies, embossing folders and stencils) to create my next card. The inks I picked are some of my favorite Altenew colors (Tropical Forest and Sweet Dreams). I used some of the longer sentiments in the set to create a subtle background, and the Crystal Clear Enamel Dots are also making an appearance again (I can't stop using these, they're SO good).
