I'm so delighted to be playing cards with the lovely Michele today! The cues she picked for us were:
- watercolor
- heat embossing
- birthday card.
Since Michele isn't only one of my favourite cardmakers, but also a dedicated foster mom to lots of Monarchs each year, I knew I wanted to have butterflies, too. This is what came out - I simply wet the embossed butterflies and dropped in a little colour with Karin markers, and it worked beautifully. (Confession: I literally made HUNDREDS of these butterflies, because I just couldn't stop... More cards to come ;-)

I wish you could join us here for our Monarch season, my friend - my husband has started collecting their eggs and wee little caterpillars from our milkweek plants this week. I had so worried about them with the horrendous smoke from the fires north of us in Canada. I'll be sure to send you pictures!
